NSF Checks California
I was arrested in California in May of 2006 for passing a few bad checks. After bailing out ($5000.00) and going to court 4 times in 4 months, each time there were no charges filed, the judge told me not to continue coming to court and wait for a letter that would come if the DA decided to prosecute. Now last week I was driving and was pulled over for expired registration.

Paid Bounced Check Now Have Warrant
I wrote a check over four years ago to WalMart and it didn't clear the bank. I paid the check and have the recipt showing payment. Through a recent background check I discovered that there is a warrant out on this matter

If a state fails to extradite, is that grounds for a speedy trial violation?
I recently flew to OR from TN and turned myself in on a 20 year old warrant for UUMV. after being OR'ed by the judge and receiving a public defender, my attorney has stated that because I was in jail or incarcerated after the warrant was issued and the state failed to extradite me on several occasions, they are in violation of my 6th amendment civil rights.. can anyone explain this

Is this search warrant illegal?
I have a question regarding a search warrant which i believe may be illegal. In the first paragraph of the warrant, the officers are given permission to enter and search the premises

background check for probation
a background check was supposedly ran on me before a request was made by my probation officer for early termination of my probation. i know for a fact that i have a felony warrant on me that was issued before the check was run. the judge ultimately denied the early term request because i haven't yet completed half of my probation.

How To Answer a Complaint
A little background: I let a casual friend borrow a youth-sized .22 caliber firearm and ammunition as my kids are older, and he had sons that he wanted to teach to hunt. Two years later, he gets arrested for various drug violations after a long undercover operation. My gun and another are seized when they search his house with a warrant.

Arrested for past history
I have a daughter that was just arrested. She was dating a boy and the mom found out about her past drug use and arrests and wanted her to stop seeing him so she pressed charges that said she stole prescription drugs from her house
