Summons for Credit Card Debt . What do I do

Possible Age Discrimination?
This is actually for my father. He's 54 years old and is an employee that works from home for a telecommunications company. My father has not received a raise in 7 years, the first 4 years was due to everyone was supposedly on a "freeze" and the next 3 years, he got a new manager and dropped my dad's ranking so he's no longer in the 10% that receive raises or bonuses

Wage garnishment will cause me to lose home.
I defaulted on a Discover credit card because of a layoff and subsequently a cut in pay. I have been informed that a judgment was levied against me in the amount of $3400. And now they are garnishing my wages, 25% of my bi-weekly paycheck.

Unpaid wages?
I had my salary reduced by 15% back in October 2009 and I signed an agreementI that the15% of my wages would go into an account to be paid back to me when the company turns a profit. I was laid of recently May 21, 2010 due to cut backs related to the economy and would like to know if those wages should be paid back to me now since I am no longer working with the company?

Can we sue a labor union for Breach of Contract?
My husband was recruited from a non-union shop by a labor union who promised him a number of things, one being that if he worked for the union for 5 years he'd be fully vested in the retirement program. He joined the summer of 2007 & things went well for the next 14 months, during which time we purchased an RV for him to stay in as most of the jobs were out of town, a 1-ton truck to pull it with, and a heavy-duty service truck for him to work with (we paid for the service truck out of our savings.) We accumulated around 65k in debt related to this union job, which we had no trouble paying for when he was working. He was laid off June 2008 and hasn't worked since! His union blames the mis-conduct of former Board Trustee members for the lack of work, missing pension funds, etc.

Trip that did not happen
This year a friend (great friend, was extremely close) was giving a wknd getaway trip.
