i am on social security have been for years 4 years ago i was threatened by a credit card company that they would put a lien on my vehicles i was affraid id loose my vehicles so i agreed to pay $100.00 a month i recently learned that they was not allowed to do this cause of my being on social security.what must i do?please help

Unknown to us until this week we just received a bill from the state of Kentucky charging us personal property tax on our vehichles for Jan-Dec of 2010. We moved from the state of Ky to Missouri in August of 2010. We registered our vehicles in Mo and paid personal property tax on those vehicles when we registered them here

I filed a TPO against my husband ,seeking refuge in the county because under the jurisdiction of the city they are incapable of acting as a liasion between a spousal dispute and may i mentioned the abuse on me did not come out of my mouth ,however several untruths came out of my husbands mouth which im sure intriged them enough of that. i could have put him out his own home ,which is his and i would not be entitled to anyway under divorce laws ,and i am aware that many men are falsely accused,i however can prove my face and lip was burned with acigarette 3 times two big bruises to my ribs i have pictures dated and time stamped he admits on a recording where unprovoked he wishes me dead (i had been having breathing diffulculties) and if i were to die hed have me scraped up to which i replied well you didnt scrape me up the other day also well that was just your first time wait till your second time.also he goes on to say that he would lock me up again in an addition to the house and i could tell my lawyer that!! this is a recording i quit my job in another state and we got married in january i found a job in july after all this had taken place with the intent on getting out of there fast,my vehicle was inoperable at the time so i worked approimately 8 days ,i told him i wanted a divorce and would be out as soon as possible,well he took the keys to one of his vehicles away therefore i could not work ,now i want to ask for some type of support so i may retain counsel ,i understand many women file these claims for financially gain in divorce i just want justice he also takes a lot of medication ,there are other aspects to all this but im talking about the tpo i have no doubt he will have representation and from what i understand has no knowledge of what allegations are in this TPO ,my question is if i ask for support and ask for continuance on the tpo hearing until i have representation is that a probable scenario i also have a police report from 2008 that was totally wrong once i left the house i had to call them out and the took pictures accordding to city police they cant find that attachment however i do have a doctors report diagnois....chest contusions i do want to use this as a bargaining tool not for financial gain but i have no job and he is the sole reason i can prove that also but to get on my feet any advice????

Can I successfully accomplish myself what a DMP would do?
First, I am very happy that I found this forum. I have learned a lot in a few days, including that such a thing as a GW letter exists and can even work sometimes! I tried the search function to see if my question has been answered but had no luck with it. Both DH and I need help digging out from under. We both have huge student loan burdens (over $400k between the 2 of us.) We both also have a ton of CC debt (about $69k between the 2 of us.) This past year he made really good money and we not only went the whole year with practically no CC use, but we paid down some debt, too (he paid off his truck and brought one balance down from $20k to 10k). However, we moved and he will be making less money here and I have yet to find work
