total loss payout. finance company hounds
My question is in 2009 my vehicle was involved in an accident by my ex-fiance and the insurance paid the total loss of the vehicle which they said was worth less than the loan, the finace excepted the total loss payout, and then came after me two years later for the remaining balance on the loan deducting the total loss payout. 1

Small Claims Suit for Towing Charges
In Nov 2004, just before leaving home for military service, my son sold his car. The title of the car was in both he and his father's names. They, and the buyer, all signed a Bill of Sale, and signed over the vehicle title to the new owner

Unsure
I have a 1999 Chrysler T &C van that I can no longer afford payments. I want to return it to the finance company that have a lien on it--but a person wants to assume the payments for me until it is paid in full and I give her the title. The problem is the finance company and the dealership have a lien on it--can I just let her assume payments and use the vehicle for her janitorial business as long as she keeps full-coverage insurance on it and make the payments or do I just return it to the finance company
