Lease and Service Charges Question
Hi all, I'm not a lawyer and was looking for an opinion on this situation I ran into with my Texas apartment management. Background: When I moved apartments, I contacted the power company to switch my service to a new address starting on the beginning of my new lease.

Company telling me I am not who I say I am.
Hello, I have had an account open with an online company NCsoft for two years now. They recently sent me a message telling me that I am not the original owner of my accont and that the account has been closed due to that fact. My account has been under the same name and address details since it was originally created

Can I be forced to pay utilities if I’m moving to Switzerland?
Sorry this is going to be a long question. I didn't know how to ask it without putting in all the details... Thanks for reading! First, a little bit of background information: I have been living in an apartment in Colorado for almost two years with two roommates.

weirdness with credit scores and home equity loan app
So i just need to vent: My house needs a new roof and I have been unable to save the 10,000 it will take to replace it. I have been working on improving my credit scores, my two problems are being late and the utility number. I have not been late with a payment for a while and I paid off some debt without closing the accounts so that lowered my utility. I checked myfico on 3/2 and Transunion was 653 and Equifax was 640. I applied online for a Wells Fargo home equity loan and I was denied. When I called Wells Fargo customer service a really good guy with a thick New York accent told me my score was 623 and they need a 640 for a home equity loan. I said but I just checked my numbers are at 640, I told him I checked Transunion and Equifax and my scores. He said Wells Fargo uses Experian! I just bought my experian score, which I understand is not FICO, and it is 664. So it still doesnt make sense b/c the wells fargo customer service person told me he was showing it as 623. I hate when things don't make sense. Nothing changed from yesterday to today so I still do not understand who is showing me at 623 and I still have to figure out how to pay for a new roof.

Top reasons "Hurting your score"
The following three reasons are listed as the top three things hurging my score in my TU and EQ reports: Collection - was paid a month after it appeared on my reports 4/09 Recent Collection 1 year 10 months High Utility 92% I plan on paying off a $11k due on my car loan by end of May as well as $6k of revolving debt. I do hope this will bring my scores up, but by how much? I plan to shop for a mortgage late summer. How much of the first two items are really hurting my score? Current score is 648 (due to the recent high usage of my cc's) Thanks

Equifax FA
Good morning everyone! I would like to know how should I go about removing a fraud alert that I placed on my Equifax credit file? I'm moving and the utility company isn't able to pull my credit so that I can establish service at my new place because of the alert

Landlord disconnected utilities, refused to submit documents to utility company
I moved into an apartment August 1, 2010. I immediately contacted the utility company to have the electric, heat, and cooking gas switched to my name, as it was in the landlords name for July 29 and 30, as they were cleaning the apartment from the previous tenant.

Clueless: why do I get rejected with a high FICO score?
Hello community, t his is my first post :) I have no idea why I'm getting rejected for credit. I opened my first account with my utility company, and the results of their "credit check" indicated that I had to put a deposit down to open the account. I've also been turned down for a couple credit cards.
