slander/defamation of character
I have written a book that is basically about some trouble I got into. I have changed all the names and alot of the circumstances, but a lot of the events actually happened. I have been told that even tho the book is fiction, if anyone recognizes themselves in the book, they can sue me.

Is this the only site to get your true score for $20? Is their a cheapear solution?

myFico hard pull? hurting credit score?
I called 1-866-238-8067 about a collection on my account to see if i could remove it. They informed me that the "hard pull" from myFico's Score Watch was negatively affecting my credit scores but I haven't seen it go down at all. is this true or was she trying to upsell me at $4 more per month with experian.com?

Is this Extortion of Blackmail?
I and 4 siblings (s1,s2,s3,s4) own property in JT. S4 wants to sell out but has demanded the remaining owners pay 4 times what his share of the property is worth. The remaining owners can barely affort to pay the true FMV of the 1/5th share (we have a certified appraisal for FMV).

Does anyone know?
When you are arrested....and the police finger print you, do they immediatly get a list of all priors or can it take days for them to get this info? I am getting conflicting stories, I was never convicted but may have an outstanding bench warrent in Mi that is 15 years old.

Pulling Your Credit Report for Free
OK, call me stingy but I would like to pull my credit report every couple of weeks for free. I am currently a member of the True Credit and Score Watch sites, but I want to drop them. My question is what sites can I get my Equifax and Experian credit reports for free on a weekly or bi-weekly basis? I have found credit.com and credit karma which pulls my TU for free. I am under an assumption that other sites will do the same for the other two CRAs.

I saw somewhere that paid CO's in New York are deleted after 5 years. Is this true?
