Is a 17 year old considered an adult?
I have a 17 year old daughter whom the police and other agencies have told me is legally an adult, but yet I am responsible for her if something were to happen. She is a "stay away" and not considered a runaway as we know where she is. She is couch surfing between friends and a boyfriend

A question about personal property while being arrested
In March 2010 my dad called me stating that the police were at my house and wanted to ask me some questions about a recent assault that happened to me. When I walked to my house the police immediately put me in cuffs and arrested me for something completely different.

false reporting in Colorado
If someone tells a hospital false information, like they claim someone is injuring themselves when they know they are not, and that hospital passes it on to the police - and the police arrive and verify the person is not injuring themselves is that considered false reporting to authorities?
