Pre-existing Condition
Does a person having dementia and occasionally using a walker prior to an accident preclude the person from receiving compensation for injuries from the accident that include greater memory loss, disorientation, inability to get out of bed without assistance or stand without a walker? I was told by a lawyer that this was so, but this information seems incorrect to me.

Police officer identification
I called someone who had texted my phone over a girl I recently broke up with and the person on the other side claimed to be a police officer. We got into a shouting match and some foul language was used. Turns out this really was a cop.

refusal to testify
Locally a man has been jailed for three months due to refusal of testifying against his brother in a DUI case. Out of curiousity, in lieu of refusal, what would prohibit the person from simply stating "I don't remember" or "I don't know"
