Dear I would like to know what rights do grandparents have and does the grandparents of the mother have more rights than the father parents.. Also does the mother parents have the right to custody if the father is alive and the mother.. Do they have rights to keep his other grandparents from visiting or spending time, because the mother and father is feuding?

Adoption of a child
My husband and I have legal guardianship of a 2 year old girl and we have had her since she was 5 months old. We are all she know as far as mother and father. We want to adopt her and in the state of Colorado, we were told we could do a custodial adoption if we've had her over a year.
