Landlord versus owner
My sister and I are co-owners of an estate we inherited. She had her daughter move into the property and sign a renters agreement. I have never seen a copy of said agreement, but thinks because she is the 'landlord' and the agreement is with her, she doesn't have to give me access to the bank account that rent payments are going to and that she has full decision over the rental contract-one I have never seen.

1 Landlord died
We've been renting a condo in Florida for the last 3 years. Recently we were shocked to hear that our landlord murdered his wife and is now held in jail with no bond waiting for trial.

Can the executor of an unsettled estate ‘borrow’ money from the estate?
My father died several years ago with no will, and my brother was appointed executor of the estate. In retrospect, that might not have been a good decision on my or my sister's part, since things are still not completely finalized yet. My brother has been dragging his feet on getting things finalized (needed paperwork forwarded to the lawyer), and I just found out why
