Q: Who's job is it to reaffirm a loan if you file chapter 7 bankruptcy? Does the lawyer have to file a reaffirmation with the debtor or does the debtor have to one once the case has been filed with the courts

Liability in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Discharge
I'm was a cosigner on a mortgage where the other debtor filed chapter seven bankruptcy. The debtor received a discharge and now the property is in default and pending foreclosure. I do not want the property and cannot afford it.

Exhusband evicting exwife
I got a divorce, Our home is in both our name, but the mortage is only in his name. I was given use of home, I had to pay house payment & repairs, until our son turns 18, at which time we were to sell the home. We are upside down on the mortage, I declared chapter 11 bankruptcy, I included his(my ex) name in the bankruptcy, I could not included to house because the mortage was not in my name

Reprecussions if payment on a vehicle that was discharged in a Chapter 7 stops?
I had a chapter 7 bankruptcy done in February in Virginia. My car was discharged but I am still making payments to keep the car.

Filing a chapter 7 again before 8 years
What happens if you file a chapter 7 again before your 8 years are up from the previous bankruptcy? I know it's not allowed, but how long does the court have to reject it and how long can you convert it to a chapter 13

Advice on accounts filed under bankruptcy
I filed a Ch 13 back in 2002. Seven years later the bankruptcy has been discharged and removed from my credit report, but looking over my credit report I sill have some of the old accounts that was filed under that bankruptcy. My inner thoughts were saying those old accounts should come off.
