Question About Occupant on Lease
Hello -- I am listed as an occupant on the lease, not as the tenant. Our landlord recently initiated retaliatory eviction proceedings against the tenant (because he requested repairs) and unfortunately the dispute is getting quite nasty between them. The tenant is now taking the landlord to court to get relief under the Texas Property Code for the repairs and is also contesting the retaliatory eviction.
