Problem with landlord and security deposit
We recently moved from Texas to Nebraska. I just received a letter stating we would not be getting our deposit back, plus we're being charged an extra $430!!!! We signed a one year lease in 2008

Question About Occupant on Lease
Hello -- I am listed as an occupant on the lease, not as the tenant. Our landlord recently initiated retaliatory eviction proceedings against the tenant (because he requested repairs) and unfortunately the dispute is getting quite nasty between them. The tenant is now taking the landlord to court to get relief under the Texas Property Code for the repairs and is also contesting the retaliatory eviction.
