Website Quality Assurance – In Detail

The term "quality" assurance of the site, when applied to Web sites, describes the process of enforcing the principles of quality control and operation of advancing the processes used in production at the site and its operations, communications and content. When the quality assurance of a site is implemented, a quality website should see a gradual development in terms of reducing the rate of defects and increase the overall usability and performance of the website. Quality assurance should function as a "tone" a user, a call for designers and developers that the site has been designed for users outside the office. Quality assurance brokers would be a positive force for quality user experience. If you are limited in what you accept the responsibility, an act of such limits. For example, if you can not test the data, or middleware, announced that in fact every time you provide the test results for the quality of the site. Even the best sites designed and developed will be problems and failures, so a good team of quality assurance should set expectations – for the whole team of the website and management – for which QA can actually achieve. Focusing on improving ProcessesThe key to understanding the quality of a site, include an emphasis on the process: quality control focuses on what comes out of the process of creating Web sites (creation, development, advertising – whatever term you prefer that describes the process that leads to the website). Quality assurance focuses on what happens in the creative process and the process itself, in order to improve the quality of production, improving everything "downstream". Quality assurance goes beyond the formal testcases used by websites of quality control, because these testcases are necessarily limited. Quality assurance is more focused on the ability of a site in relation to a specific parameter, the quality assurance is to make the site better if the tests are more consistent, so that benchmarks can actually be refined, and so the problems can be eliminated. Quality assurance should be involved in the development process. QA should review the new designs before they are developed with an eye toward the factors of usability and user experience, category of problems before they become true immediately improves quality and reduces problems "downstream". Quality assurance should be involved in customer service and user support for communications, especially e-commerce site, so that defects may be usability reviews. With user input, quality assurance can refine user scenarios to better match the behavior "real. There is no substitute for user feedback. Following an important part of your website, make a post-mortem analysis: update on the amendments, revisions, scheduling, file transfer, etc. What could be made more effective?
