Manager grabbed me by shirt and flung me
My manager at my workplace was demonstrating what she did to her nephew...and I happened to be closest to her and she grabbed me by my shirt with an open hand and hit me when she did, then she flung me back and forth....we have been having problems for a couple months cause she dont like me...I talked to my store manager and they are looking at the tape but he said because it was a demonstration and didnt have to do with work nothing would properly be done about it...what legal rights do I have? Supervisor misconduct
While working as a cashier at a convenience store I refunded a customer 20 dollars for returned merchandise after being instructed to do so by my Store Manager. Because of this I was terminated and the Store Manager failed to inform the District Manager that it was he, not I, that ok'd the transaction. He then proceeded to inform others of my termination and took steps to deny my unemployment benefits by adding that allegedly 40 packs of cigarettes were also missing from my shift.
