Job Offer for Mortgage Loan officer… Scam or Real?
I got an email from a guy sayign he’s looking for 2 more employees for his loan office.
The job I was offered goes like this: I’ll be a w-2 employee, and not need a license since I’ll be working under the license of the firm (E**** Lending).
My job is basically to go out and get leads, any way I can, like talk to bankers, Realtors, etc and get them to send me their below 620 fico people. I will train about a month, then go out. Non-paid training. I get 50% first loan, 60% second & third, and then 70% split for the remainder of while I am there. Basically, I don’t ever have to be in the office, I just go out, seek leads, and take them to the processor, and if it funds, I get my check.
Here’s where this confuses me:
What’s to stop a person off the street from bringing in a bunch of leads and getting paid like I will be?
Will I get in trouble for working like this? (i.e. No License)
Should I stay here, or risk a 100% commission job?

Which would be the best option Equity Loan or second Mortgage?
We are in need of a mojor bathroom remodel very soon or we risk not having a functioning shower soon. We currently have over 3x our loan due amount in equity, but our credit rating is not the best.
What I would like to do is take out the loan for the remodel (including materials for other areas of the home we can do ourselves) for a fixed 15-30 year repayment so our curretn payments will be low enough to not hurt us until we sell in 5 years when we will have paid the 1st mortgage in full and we will repay the 2nd loan in full from the sale profits.
Which would be the best way to go for our needs, timeline, and credit rating to make the most of it and get the best rates possible? Thank you

Father & Elder Abuse,Possible Financial Elder Abuse & Criminal Negligence(?) By Uncle
Here is some information and questions about the abusive behavior we have been dealing with........... Would an 80 year-old uncle, (who has always lived on a 35' sailboat) by literally insisting his 80 year-old twin brother (my dad) who had a stroke several years ago, is unsteady on his feet and diagnosed with vascular dementia and subsequently totally dependent on his brother to handle his financial affairs, has no choice or option except to buy and live by himself on a 34' - 15 year old fishing trawler he will obviously never be able to learn to use as such, or use the lavatory and shower on-board and must always walk to use the public ones nearby instead, is heated only by a small electric space heater, has no working stove or refrigerator and on which he also recently slipped and fell getting on and off of the boat, breaking the same hip replaced years before, and is presently in a convalescent facility, heavily medicated, in tremendous amount of pain, recuperating from surgery, can't walk anymore at all and may possibly be unable to ever walk again, etc., etc., be considered "elder abuse"? Criminal Negligence

I received a call from Equifax corporate and was told Equifax no longer provides FICO scores. I was told they must be ordered from Fair Isaac directly
