What happens to a real mortgage when a debtor files for bankruptcy?

I am a creditor whose debt is guaranteed by an actual mortgage. I recently received a notice that the debtor has filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States. What will be my loan and my mortgage? I be prohibited from foreclosing the mortgage? The way in which the insolvent debtor is an individual and not a company. Please prvide.Merci legal basis.

Thanks to myFICO – EQ 700, TU 750 (up from 501 a year ago)
Thanks to all the help and advice from the myFICO community, I've worked and have my EQ up to 700 and TU up to 750! Also because of my lovely new scores.

Score Estimator
Says I should be sitting between 695 and 745. I'm not. :smileysad: Is this common? Where the estimator is so far off the real score?

Breach of Real Estate Contract
I signed a contract to purchase a New home in Missouri. Due to many factors I made the decision that I could not buy the property at this time, so I informed the Real State Agent. In the contract we agreed that the construction company will provide a fence, blinds and pay for a portion of the closing cost.

Does transunioncs.com give real FICO scores?
I keep getting a Error 730 when I try to get my TU score from MyFico, and was looking for an alternative place to get my REAL FICO for TransUnion. Does transunioncs.com give real FICO scores, and if not does anybody know of someplace other than MyFico that does?

Experian Fico score…where do I get the real one?
Know I can get my "real" TU and EQ scores here, but where do I get the real Experian score . Tried the experian site and ended up with a Vantage Score (fako I presumed). It was very very high compared to my FICO! Thx

This site is a waste of $
What are we paying for here?! I paid $30.00 for 2 of the 3 credit scores and a "glance" at derogatorys on my acct. I now will have to contact the bureaus to get the real information needed to clean up my report. In no way was this site helpfull to me.

Wrong name showing up in some strange places
Hi all I have what I think is a strange issue....on those "people search sites" I'm not showing up, but someone with a different first name and same last name as mine is. In my husband's and son's case, it says that "m* w*" is a relative, with my age and address. I just pulled my annual credit reports for me (with my real name) and everything came back clean. Should I be concerned?
