I have a serious issue with hard inquiries from entities that do not provide a credit service. While I have no problem taking the hits from credit-providing inquiries I generate, inquiries coming from public utilities, cable and Direct TV, cellular providers, and property management agencies should not be considered hard inquiries.

I made a very stupid mistake by not doing more research before hiring a family law firm, and now I am paying the price big time. I've ended up with a horrific firm headed by Bobette Fleishman, and it is difficult to imagine a more difficult law firm to deal with. ID Theft — Credit Monitoring suggestions
A friend of mine just found out that the hospital "lost" his file which included his credit card info, social, insurance info, and a good deal of his medical history. They have offered to pay for 1 year of credit monitoring services. Any suggestions on the best services out there for credit monitoring? He is not so much worried about his score, but the ability to pull any and all credit reports anytime he wants. Also, is there a credit monitoring service that also handles freezing all credit bureaus. Any suggestions would be helpful. Price really is not an object as he will not be paying for it.
