Domestic Violence Simple Assault
my son mother and I are not together but she came to my apartment trying to fight my new girlfriend so i broke up the fight and grab her and put her out she called police and said i assaulted her they came to arrest me but i had left home she said they charged me with domestic violence simple assault i have dealt with her in the pass and have been to court and charged with simple assault once before and convicted for nothing she told me that the police said the state had taken over the case cause she tried to drop the charges so what do i need to do hire an attorney if the state has taken over the case

Recently, my friend was given a court summons for possession of marijuana, possession of alcohol (underage), and loitering for drugs. He has to show up for court and the police said it won't go on his permanent record
