Insurance Co. wrote not accept returned refund check and now calls it a non-payment – HELP
Situation: I kept getting a refund check from my car insurer after my agent (same insurance company) told me to cancel the original policy so she could open a new combined policy to include my new house. I returned the check each time with a note stating the obvious mistake; this happened three times over 2 months. The final time I deposited the check but wrote a personal check for the same amount with a note on reason for this payment
