Was this search/seizure illegal?
This happens while i was at work. My 2 roommates were at home and the 1 was making a smoke bomb on the stove using potassium nitrate for something fun to watch go off in the back yard like an idiot... Anyways the boiling pot went out of control and splattered on the floor and filled the ENTIRE house with smoke..

Can I legally withhold my ex-roommate’s deposit?
I received a voicemail from my landlord on the last day of our lease stating she thought it was immature of whoever lived in the basement room to paint it lime green with purple writing in acrylic paint on the walls, when we were specifically told to not paint any rooms unless it was a neutral color with her permission first. And that if it wasn't painted that night (the new tenants were to move in in 2 days) that she would hire professional painters and our deposit would be exhausted. Our landlord was also upset with the fact that that roommate's room was never vacuumed (bobbypins, coins, ponytails still on the floor even in addition to a glob of dirt) and that there was a bunch of food left in the kitchen and the kitchen was very "disgusting"

Tree responsibility?
I live in a Mobile Home park and understand that while Landlord/Tenant and Mobile Home Park Rules overlap, there are also differences between them. That being said, my landlord uses some fairly generic Mobile Home lot lease form from the state and fills in the blanks. While it does not specify that he's responsible for trees/plants, it states that they cannot removed without his permission...as they are property of the park.

phone privacy
If someone gives me a phone but it is under their name, however it was given to me for my exclusive use. Does this person have a right to examine the text msgs without the my permission? Or are they illegally invading my right to privacy?

Drunk driver treated without insurance and without permission at hospital.
Not actually sure if this is the right place to post so please forgive me. This case is semi-unique I suppose so bear with me. I crashed my car while intoxicated and the police showed up.

Landlord will not return deposit because she deduct $5000 from the selling price
Recently my husband and I moved out of a house we were renting because the owner had sold the home. She only gave us 30 days to move out.
