Damaging rumors / defamation, intimidation, and harassment?
I recently quit my job of several years. New owners took over several months ago, and I've had problems with one of them for the last few months. I am hearing that a lot of very derogatory things are being said about me, none of which are true.

Can I hold my former employer responsible for libel/slander?
My former employer terminated my employment about a month ago, and told me that the reason was because they were "unhappy with my performance." As a result, I applied for unemployment benefits with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES). A few days ago, I received a notice from the DES saying my benefits were denied because my employer reported to them that I was "discharged because of falsifying my employment application or other documents related to obtaining or maintaining employment." Not only is my resume 100% factual and accurate, my employer made NO such remark to me when I was terminated. Do I have a case for a libel lawsuit?

Lying on a review
Hi I have worked for my current company for 2 years now. Both yearly reviews I have received have been good. The most recent (july 1, 2010) said "Keep up the good work." "You are doing an excellent job." "Don't change a thing." However, as of a couple of days ago (September 4, 2010) I received an email saying in short- 'you suck' from my boss.

Finra u-5
Can a FINRA U-5 be changed after a termination so that the language as to the nature of the termination is not on the form? I feel strongly that "Termination for Poor Performance" does not reflect accurately why I was let go, and now I was denied a job with another company because of it

Dismissal – British Columbia
The owner(s) of the company I used to work decided I was to be dismissed. They flew from the Western provinces to assure me of their categorical decision. I started in December 1st, 2008 and was told I am no longer an active member of this company as of April 15, 2010.

Fired for Misconduct – Preparing for appeal
I was employed for 15 months with a company operated out of Montana as a teleworking customer service rep. (NOTE: I am in GEORGIA) I received 2 satisfactory 6-month reviews, and when the company downsized the division I was working in November 2009, I received a letter of employment to go to another division
