Problems getting paid on time, possibly at all
I've been working for a company for a year and a half now, when I began working there my payday was Monday.

Direct deposit paycheck
I know I sound old fashion but I need some advice on direct deposit. I live in Kansas where we do not have a mandatory direct deposit for paychecks.

Employer deducting more from paychecks than authorized for health insurance
I recently uncovered the President of our company is deducting more money from employees than what was agreed upon with the ins. co for our health insurance.

Unsure about Salary Law, Boss witholding money
I currently work for a pet care service where each visit pays $7.25 and I'm (supposed to be) compensated for mileage. I had gotten fired from a previous job, so to assist me, my manager at my part-time job hired me full time and decided to put me on a salary worth 110 visits

Scope of Employment – Does my company own the software I created?
I'm basically looking for some consultation involving a situation with my employer. I was originally working for them as an independent contractor (1099) to provide technical support to customers. Interested in opinions on debt payment schedule…
I've been trying to decide whether to pay off my credit cards as quickly as possible, or to take a little longer and focus on building up my savings. The quick pay-down I calculated is kind of a snowball method...I would continue making the mimimum payments, but then whenever an "extra" paycheck falls within the month for me or DH, use that entire paycheck to pay off a card

Employer Going Broke; Not Getting Paid
My boyfriend's company of 7 years changed hands this fall. Since December, they have not been paying him consistently. It started out as delivering the Friday paychecks on Monday, but now the checks are sometimes 3 weeks late
