Car Loan Co-Signer Death Effect
My friend's father was co-signer on a car loan (also I believe co-owner on the title if that matters). The other person had/has the car and made payments for a while but then stopped and loan went to collections. My friend's father had been contacted by the collections agency, but about that time he became ill and died.
