AmEx sent me a new card

I had posted a question about this before, but I thought I'd mention this.   I asked AmEx to backdate my new Blue Cash CC that I just applied for on the 27th of March, I was approved and they sent me the card next day air VIA UPS, and that card naturally said Member Since 11, now today I get in the mail another card that says Member Since 91, I never asked for them to send me a card that said that (I'm not complaining, believe me).   My question is.....is this normal?

Ebay subsidiary files claim and possible collections. Is this Legal?

I am currently mixed up in a claim with a subsidiary of Ebay Japan that is doing business under an assumed name. To this moment i have attempted to reach customer support to fix technical issues so that i may follow protocol and refund the "buyer" but i am being stonewalled.

NavyFed Eligibility Question

My husband is in the military (currently overseas).  He does not have an account with NavyFed but is eligible.  As his spouse, does anyone know if I'm eligible to join without him?  I went to their website and looked at their eligibilty section and it said family members of current members or those eligible for membership could apply for membership.  I started the online app process and was stopped at the second question, enter your Access number.  I clicked on the find my access number link and entered the requested info and it said insufficient info was provided.  It asked for ssn, dob, and last name (I entered hubbys info).  I've been hearing great things about NavyFed and was looking to set up a savings acct with them, and later on take advantage of the great benefits they offer (loans, cc's).  Does hubby have to first become a member before I'm eligible?  TIA for any assistance!

2 banks violated my trust

January of 2011 I wrote a check to 1st bank that handles my car loan. My account was low and it resulted in the check being returned by 2nd bank. I called 1st and offered to come down there to pay it and whatever fees I incurred and Stephanie said “no need, they would just run it back thru because that was their policy”…and they did on 02/23/2011; 5 days later it cleared again on 02/28/2011.

Help! Authorized user problems!

I stupidly stopped paying on my Sears credit card about 6 months ago.  It was charged off two days ago; found out cause I called because I finally had the money to pay the money past due! Too late for that now!  I will be making payment arrangements to pay off my debt with the credit recovery department it in. Problem now is that experian and transunion reported this on my husband's credit report; equifax has not.

Several Questions: Conflict, final papers filing, etc

I've just completed mediation 2 weeks ago where a settlement was reached. Even thought both parties signed the mediators documents, I am still waiting for opposing counsel to send final orders for signing. They keep claiming that they are waiting on their client to review before sending them along

The best online savings bank with a high APY

What's up everybody.  I'm looking to save more, and spend less. My current savings account has a measly .05 APY. That should be a felony.  At bankrate.com and kiplingers.com, they say that the online banks with savings accounts will give me the highest APY right now.  Suze Orman recommends:   Emigrant Direct First National Bank of Omaha HSBC ING Direct     As of 11/26/10, kiplingers.com says Sallie Mae online bank has a savings account with 1.4 APY.

Bank of America Bill Payer Service…

New email from BofA...(I didn't even know you could use Bank of America cc to pay bills online through their bill payer service!   I also object to them saying they can notify me via email for any account changes -- something I never authorized, but apparently they decided they could and would.  Same with statements.

Credit Inquiry from CU

Hi all,   I am hoping to get some guidance on a recent issue I have with a CU pulling my credit report.  I wanted to open a new account with a CU that is offered via my job.  I attempted to do the online application back on 09/03/10 and after inputting my information and hitting the send button it gave me an error message stating that the system was unavailable, and to try again or give them a call.  I let it go (I had just returned to work from maternity leave so was pretty busy).  Any ways, I decided to try the application online again and see if it worked last Friday.  Well after doing the same thing it gave me the same error message.  What I did then was call t hem, and a rep told me oh we are having some issues I can fax you the application.    Well, after I had come home I got a credit alert of new inquiries.  At first I didn't think much of it since I had just opened three new credit cards.  I logged in and reviewed it and there it was 2 inquiries from the CU!!!! I was so upset, especially because now my inquiries look extreme!  I called the CU yesterday and of course no help and said that is not our doing its the website....
