several years ago I was injured by an ex-boyfriend. He punched me in the face several times. I can't take him to court for medical bills at this point and I'm not interested in pursuing charges or anything.

Does anyone have this service to monitor their credit reports? If so, would you mind sharing your thoughts, good or bad, on the service. I am not interested in their scores, just the credit report as far as completeness of accounts and how fast they update. Also, are they a daily, or monthly puller? Thanks for your input.

I got a preapproval loan app from World Finance Corporation. Has anyone ever heard of this company. Apparently they have a local office in my city. I'm not interested in the loan, but since this is the first time I've ever gotten a preapproval for a loan in the mail, thought I'd check it out.

Landlord wants 12 months upfront…but…
We found an apartment we really liked, at $2400, which is over our budget. Landlord offered to give us 1 month free if we paid full year upfront, meaning a net rent of $2200, at the top of our budget.

Landlord threatening bad reference/withholding deposit
We have been in our apartment nearly 2 years. We have been model tenants--paid rent early every month, asked for very few repairs (of things that were incorrectly installed in the renovations prior to our tenancy), broke nothing, caused no damage, made no noise, etc. etc.
