landlord selling the house what are my rights
I'm a tenant but my landlord and I didn't make a written agreement. In the month of April I paid half of my rent on the 3 of the month and I was going to pay my other half at the end of the month.

I have a problem on febuary 1 2011 I wrote my landlord stating: "How are you I hope all is well I have a problem I know a couple of months ago I talked to you in regards to my Fiance losing his job and we found a roommate to move in to pick up other half of the rent. She notified me that she will be moving out at the end of this month and I can not pay rent myself

Can an employer calculate overtime by hours over in days and not by work week in NYC?
I work in the retail industry and my hours are from 10:30 am - 7:30pm. (we close at 7pm but usually don't leave till at least 7:20pm) We are paid bi-weekly. Every 15th and 30th of the month.

I HAVE BEEN FROM MY LANDLORD FOR ABOUT 8YRS. Turning 21 while on probation for underage drinking
Can you drink when you turn 21 if you are probation for underage drinking? My husband is supposed to get off probation for underage drinking in July, but he will be 21 this month. Is he allowed to drink?

When do items fall off?
I have a collection account that is due to fall off my credit reports in June, 2011. Do things typically fall off the beginning of the month or the end of the month? If I were to check my credit the middle of June, for example, would it still be there? Thanks
