USAA Credit Monitoring Service
I currently subscribe to USAA"s Premium Credit Monitoring Service. In the process of rebuilding my credit so I'm obsessive about my credit report. Is it worth it to stick with USAA's service or should I purchase a subscription to myFico

Beware Of CreditReport.com
I noted on my credit card statement that CreditReport.com had charged me $12.95 for SSN monitoring. First of all, i don't pay for anyone to monitor my SSN or Fico Score, etc. These things I can do myself and besides, i have a Freeze on all 3 CRAs; which is updated every 90 days'. I had contacted CreditReport regarding this monitoring service and was told, i ordered the Monitoring. Well, for lack of a better term; their lying to me. I am very anal about pulling my reports and getting my Fico almost every 3 months. I know exactly what's on my reports and since the Freeze placed on all 3 CRA, there has not been any attempts of thief on my credit. I had to contact my Credit Card Company, who stated they will reverse the charge. Besides, anyone I use on the internet are on my favorites, for which CrediReport..com is not one of them. In fact, their emails go directly to my spam file, which is exactly where the cancellation email went to this afternoon. Years ago, a friend of mines told me; "Everyone is a Racket" and believe them; these people are...

Reporting to Experian, Equifax, Transunion
Hello, I'll bet my questions have been asked before. Sorry for cluttering this board if I am/and or delete/move this post to it's proper place if I'm in error, and or direct me where I need to go with all this. Since November 2009 I've been monitoring my credit and the scores on all three bureaus

Plan for Credit Reports?
I purchased Suze Orman's Fico Kit Platinum. So I"m using that to get 3 reports total (from EQ/TU) over time. Plus FICO scores for these.

Equifax INQ are dropping off …
I know that TU and EQ INQ tend to drop off if you worry too much about your CR and check it often... but I find it amusing that, I pulled my 3-in-1 from USAA yesterday and my INQ were listed as: EX: 9 EQ: 11 TU: 9 Today, I logged into CreditCheck Monitoring and I DID NOT PULL A NEW REPORT ... I just looked at the INQ from yesterday and it displays the following: EX: 9 EQ: 10 TU: 9

Question about inquiries?
I was just curious if inquiries drop off earlier than 2 years? For instance: I use the CreditCheck Monitoring (3in1) from usaa and looked over my report pulled from 02/10/2010. I had 6 inquiries that were just over a year old and 4 that were about 6 months old. When I pulled my report today, it only shows that I have 1 inquiry on my report. Is this normal?

Score Watch vs. EQ Credit Watch
Okay, I am waiting for my very last collection to be removed and I am a member of score watch from myfico. My EQ score is currently 644 according to myfico. When I called Equifax, she said that 644 wasn't my score but she couldn't tell me what it was unless I bought the score or subscribed to their monitoring service, which I could immediately cancel. So I subscribed and my fico score is 649! WTH!?!? Any ideas why the score difference??? I MADE SURE it was FICO, not FAKO.

Possible unauthorized Inquiry
I recently got a security system installed. The company that did the installation ran a credit check and so did the monitoring center. So now I have two inquiries. I don't think those are permissible. Am I correct? I wasn't asking for credit, I actually paid for the installation ahead of time. So would I be justified in sending a Unauthorized Inquiry Letter?
