Applying for a marriage license before divorce ramifications
I went through a very bitter divorce where we seemed to over excel and be one of only 4% of all divorces that went to trial. The divorce has been going on for over a year and was supposed to be over a while ago, but something has always popped up. The latest was after the final trial date (that's all over now), her attorney had a brother die, so that delayed it for three weeks, then it was the holiday's and the judge went on vacation for another couple of weeks

Can I get a home loan, Bad credit from a bad marriage..?
My credit is absolute crap from my former marriage (wife spending caused me extreme financial burden). When I say crap I mean bottom of the barrel.
I work from home and make between 5-7k a month. I want to move from California and relocate to GA where the housing is very cheap compared to here. I can easily afford a 500/mo mortgage on my income… But could I even get a loan despite my horrible credit? If so how much down would it take to get the loan?

The mortgage company calculated our biweekly payments based on monthly payments…?
My wife owned our home prior to our marriage. Just recently we have been talking about moving to a larger home so I started looking at our financial status. I started with trying to figure out the amount left on the current mortgage but ran into a little problem. It appears that the mortgage company created our mortgage by taking a 25 year amortization based on monthly payments, then halving the monthly payments to make the biweekly payments we have been paying. I know that it thus creates an incorrect calculation for a payment monthly of 840 is equal to 10080 and the actual payment of 420 biweekly equals 10920 a year! The payments calculated do not fit the information laid out in the loan papers.
My questions, keeping in mind that we are in Ontario, Canada is:
1 – What recourse do we have against the lender for making such an error?
2 – What options legally do we have against the lender for making calculation errors like this on official documents.

Married under assumed name
My wife and I were married in 1994 in Florida while I was on the run from a criminal case from another state. When our relationship looked like it was becoming serious I confessed to her my real name, my history, and why I was on the run, she accepted this and and with full knowledge married me under my assumed name. Anyway, the law finally caught up with me in 2000 and I was extradited back to the state where I committed my crime (embezzlement), did my time, paid my restitution, and now I'm all done with that

Bound by an internet divorce agreement. Help, she’s taking my children.
At a moment of weakness, my future ex-wife after having an affair with our pastor convinced me to sign an internet divorce agreement and parenting plan which awarded her sole custody and child support. During the divorce hearing, Feb. 15, 2011, the Judge and the lawyers argued for four hours about the legitimacy of the internet agreement.

Time for filing Appeal
Does the filing of a Motion for Rehearing on a Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage, toll the time to file an appeal on that Final Judgment?
