Bond Forfeiture
In 2003, I was arrested for marijuana possession while working in Georgia ( I live in New York ). It was bosses weed and he told me he would take care of a lawyer and fines for me. Several years later, at the NY DMV i was told I could not renew my license because of an outstanding ticket in Georgia.

Company fobbing me off and now ignoring me.
In January 2009 I paid a company £425 for two audits to be run on a credit card and a loan as they advertised that they could potentially have these cancelled due to an unfair credit agreement deeming them unenforceable. Their website and literature stated that this fee was refundable if the claim was not successful. It gave the time line of 3-6 months for an answer or potentially 12 months if events out of their control took over.

Roommates want to sue me
My two roommates and I have a year lease until August 2010. However, I moved out of the apartment in December and gave them notice in October. I found a subletor (same person who had subleted in the summer) but she was contacted by my roommates who discouraged her from moving by calling her names and telling her that she couldnt have my room.

Voluntary Car Repo ?
Greetings - it has been a LONG time! Hope things are going well for everyone and people have found great help on this board!! I am trying to help a friend who had a voluntary repo 5 years ago - he gave the car back, Chase wrote it off on his credit; and out of the blue of course now he rec'd a letter from a new collection company, but he hadn't ever heard from the previous one listed on the letter. I am doing the DV letter now but am wondering, is there a way to ask for PROOF of what the car actually sold for? He is asking for the statement of accounting but I am really starting to wonder WHY he shouldn't be able to ask, after all why is it if you give back the collateral you are still stuck w/full amount of loan including the interest

Leave the scene, did not see the damage
I heard some noise while I was trying to park two spots in front of another car along the road. I thougt that because I driving on the snow (there was big snow on the road at that time), I also suspected that I might have contacted with the other car. I got off the car and checked my car, no obvious scractch.

credit update on request + credit history question
I have two questions. First, is it common for a lender to update your credit reports with the big 3 upon request. It seems like some banks are very leisurely about updating, and I'll see an update skip a month or take a very long time to show up

How long will it take to get back to where I was after a creditor’s mistake?
Hello, This is my first post. I am wondering if some of you may be able to give me an idea how long it will take to get back to where I was. Here is a brief version of the story.... I have an auto loan with a credit union. The last two months payments they mistakenly deposited into my account instead of applying them to my loan. Last week they reported me late and my fico dropped 90 points. I got the alert and called the cu. They said they would fix it right away and apparently did because my score shot up a whole 9 points. I called myfico customer service and they were of little help.
