Can I have 2 different mortgage companies try to get me a loan at the same time?
Im trying to get a home loan. I was pre-approved by 5 different places. A couple weeks later I found my dream house. Now when it comes time to actually get my mortgage the guy at weichert financial tells me he’s not sure if its gonna happen. Can I start looking at another company to get me financed. He said that if he cant do it than no one can, but I dont believe that. I know that are credit sucks but we make decent money and have no debt. So will it mess anything up if I start looking elsewhere. Im not looking for another pre-appoval. Im looking for a loan.
PLease dont tell me to call you to get a loan. I want a company with an office right near me.
Mazziatplay— I really just asked if 2 different companies can search for a loan at the same time. I have been working on my credit for over a year since I was hurt on the job and had to take a leave. Now that all of our debt including doctor bills have been paid we are trying to raise our score. In the meantime our landlord is selling our place and we have to leave. This is the reason why we are looking to buy a little sooner that we should. So before you tell someone to WAKE UP maybe you could be considerate of someones feeling. I am not fully aware of the mortgage laws. I do as much research as I can but unfortunatly there are a bunch of lenders that get peoples hopes up just to make a sale.

landlord selling the house what are my rights
I'm a tenant but my landlord and I didn't make a written agreement. In the month of April I paid half of my rent on the 3 of the month and I was going to pay my other half at the end of the month.

Landlord says I can’t work from home office, is this legal?
I live in a 4 br house with roommates. One recently got married and moved out, so I decided I would rent his room and use it for my home office. I work remotely as a loan officer for a reverse mortgage company based in So Cal. My landlord now says it’s not legal for me to use the room or any part of the house for my work purposes. I use my home office for phone calls and administrative purposes. I meet with clients in their homes, not mine. He says there are insurance/zoning laws which prohibit me from doing this. I don’t believe this is true. Everyone has a home office these days, including my landlord, who lives about 20 miles away. Any qualitified advice and/or resources would be greatly appreciated so I can give him an educated response. Thank you.

Damage to hidden camera, will I win this case?
Hello, I placed a hidden camera inside a small black garbage bag on a cabinet door to catch a thief in a shared accommodation house. The other party, removed this bag (not knowing the camera was inside) and damaged the camera, claiming that the bag posed a fire hazard.

Security Deposit withheld
My family and I moved in March. On March 30, I turned in my keys and did a final inspection/walk through, which signed by both me and the staff of the building.

Ex roommate
I lived with two other roommates last summer in a duplex. Two months over the summer I had to work out of state in Maine at a camp. We had agreed that while I was gone I would send rent, but not money for utilities, since I was not using them

Pet clause
There is a pet policy in my lease saying "no pets on the premises" A friend brought their dog over for a few hours and someone told the landlord. Can they fine me if the landlord didn't even see the dog
