Is my online business idea legal?
i want to start an online business, but im not sure if the premise is entirely legal. The site would operate much like "penny auction" sites, where users buy "bid packs" to then use to bid on prizes (gift certificates to online retailers at $20, $50, and $100 denominations).

About a year ago my buddy was arrested and his backpack was taken which had some pot and some personal belongings and also a few illegal pills(which he was never charged for). He was charged at the time with the pot but now (a year later when he has the property release paperwork) he's worried they might be just waiting for him to go pick it up and rearrest him because of a couple pills. Did they overlook them?

Tenant missing and no rent paid
We rent a commercial space to our tenant. He utilizes the space primarily for storage and travels several weeks each month. We received a check for rent in January and have not heard from him or seen him since

Company fobbing me off and now ignoring me.
In January 2009 I paid a company £425 for two audits to be run on a credit card and a loan as they advertised that they could potentially have these cancelled due to an unfair credit agreement deeming them unenforceable. Their website and literature stated that this fee was refundable if the claim was not successful. It gave the time line of 3-6 months for an answer or potentially 12 months if events out of their control took over.
