Which is the best credit monitoring service?
I know that we are on a "myFico" forum, but which service is the best credit monitoring service for the money? What I am looking for really is monitoring of all three services with an occasional credit report. That is to say, I want to be made aware of changes to all three bureaus, but I only occasionally need an actual copy of my credit report. Anyone heard of IdentityGuard? Ok, looking forward to your input. James

Company telling me I am not who I say I am.
Hello, I have had an account open with an online company NCsoft for two years now. They recently sent me a message telling me that I am not the original owner of my accont and that the account has been closed due to that fact. My account has been under the same name and address details since it was originally created

Driver’s License & Social Security Card have different first name
We are hiring a new employee, when reviewing his identity submitted for the I-9 form I noticed that the first name is different on their social security card than on their driver's license and what had been submitted on their application. My boss "knows" the person and when I told him that I would have to use the name as it is on the social security card for payroll purposes he profoundly told me "No

Can’t Get a Credit Report
I'm a 20-year-old who tried getting a FICO report through this site as well as my free annual credit report through Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.

CC Blocked – And Security Questions Do Not Pertain to Me – Now What?
Hello All, I hope someone can help me. Three weeks ago, I got stuck out of town without the ability to use my HSBC Discover card after I had used it the night before. HSBC locked it as part of a fraud alert because I dared use it out of state, then began to ask me a series of questions that did NOT pertain to me, therefore, I could not correctly answer the questions! They insisted that the information they had came from my credit report and/or public records. Even going into a branch did not help resolve this issue, and last Friday, I had to fax in a ton of information to prove my identity - I did with a long critical letter as well - Well, tonight I checked ALL THREE reports and NONE of the information they tested me on appears on ANY of the credit reports. They finally did unblock my card tonight , but I am so darn afraid of this happening again when I just cannot convince these people that I cannot choose a previous address from a list when I, in fact, have never lived at ANY of the provided addresses! Now what am I supposed to do?

Any nervous about using Credit Karma?
I find it odd that a site would give you access to your credit report free of charge. Then it dawned on me: they clearly get you to divulge your SSN, identity info, and all other good stuff that could be used to actually steal your identity. Doesn't that strike anyone as ODD?? The Big 3 scoring bureaus (and myFICO) have an obvious motivation--provide credible information for a fee. No extraordinary / exceptional risk in inputting your information into their system. But CK has no obvious motivation and seems EXCEPTIONALLY risky. Thoughts?

Credit Report of Deceased
My wife passed away about 7 months ago. We're young so we had online accounts for just about everything. All of her stuff is closed (or should be).

Does anyone have any experience with trusted ID or any other ID Theft protection?
I am looking into buying an Identity Theft Protection program and I have heard bad things about almost all of them. Please send me your reviews.
