Single friend died with no will – what rights do we have?
I have a single (never had any children) 57 year old friend – John - that died the end of April (in the state of NC) – where he lived in an apartment with another friend but the lease was only in John’s name. He has one sister that lives out of state as well as an 80+ year old father out of state. His rent was not paid for the month of May because he was in the hospital and was unable to pay the bill and died while in the hospital.

Medical Testing/ cutting hours at work

refusal of uniform allowance payment from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, N Y City
I was a RN , worked for the above hospital for 32 years. I was retired as 12/31/10. On my final check, they refused to pay my uniform allowance which was $ 150.00/year

Is my custody case good enough?
September 1st of last year my two children were placed with me by Michigan CPS. There was a history of domestic violence in the home and the final straw was my eight year old son calling the police. Their mother was arrested and spent two days in jail.

Fired for death in family?

Hospital Price Gouging
Good Day, My wife and I have no health insurance. We have had it, but after rising premiums and less coverage, and refusal to honor claims; I cancelled it. We got pregnant and attempted to see obgyns in our area of our state.
Pregnancy discrimination
I am 6 1/2 months pregnant and about to start working at a hospital here in CT. They asked that I provide a copy of lab work for previous immunizations/titers, which I did. Since I have gotten pregnant, I have found out that I am no longer immune to rubeola- however, I have immunity to everything else they asked for, showing that I've either had all my immunizations, been exposed at some point to the illness and fought it off, or have had it at some point in my childhood and fought it off (as with varicella).
