Mortgage Help, Company is Clueless?

We are three months behind on our mortgage. I called to make a payment the other day and was told, “Congratulations, you are paid in full.” Of course we aren’t, no one and I mean NO ONE at that company can tell me what is going on. According to the website as of 12/31/10 the loan was sold in a foreclosure sale, no one at the company can tell me what that is about either. I talked to one person who said it means it was sold on the courthouse steps….well no because we are still here, and the great thing about this is we haven’t received any notices, late notices, intent to foreclose notices, sheriff visits not even a phone call. Another person told me that it could be we sold the loan to another mortgage company but guess what they don’t know who!

I have called the company numerous times in the last week and they are “researching what is going on with this account” we will call you back in 24 hours. No call, shocking I know.

The thing is no one I talk to there has any idea what happened with the loan although they do say it isn’t in foreclosure or loss mitigation but they don’t know what is going on with it. They can’t see who/when/ or if it was sold. They all act like they are clueless.

I even told one person how amazing it was that other companies were able to keep up with all of your account information and that it was a really cool thing to do.

What is my best course of action to obtain an FHA mortgage loan?

I am debating on how to handle my past credit issues. My husband and I want to purchase a home in CA. We have ALOT!!! of old negative credit issues, some paid some not. All 4+ years or older. I have been very successful in having several accounts deleted, but there are some that I do not know what to do.
I have an old NEXTCARD account that’s DOLA is 10/2001 which if I understand right will fall off next April. NEXTCARD is no longer around, it has been to four different collection agencies and I honestly doubt they could validate. I am fearful if I do dispute,and they do validate, it’s last reported date will change and apparently FHA looks at your last 12 months from all aspects, DOLA, date reported, etc…. So I guess what I am asking is should I only work on the accounts that have been reported in the last twelve months?

ALL I notice, is, add after add, call after call. I don’t believe a heavily advertised operation is going to look out for my interest.

Disputed Account just to see it again!

I disputed an account with Transunion in June 2010 which they concluded that I had paid this account, I had a letter from the collection Agency where I paid it off so with that I guess it was enough. It is July 2010 and I get up this morning and do a soft pull and there they are again the same Collection Agency, Same account and same balance as when I first Disputed it in June. This account went with a Zero balance for an entire month and all of a sudden it appears and when I called TRU they said the Collection Agency can put what they want on my report and I have to prove it does not belong on there, I asked her could she look at the dispute history and she would see where the same account had been cleared by Transunion in June and she said it does not matter that I will need to dispute it again, this is the third time and now I feel TRU is as much at fault as the Collec tion agency.  Where will this end
