FMLA-Merging with a new company
I work for a large group of privately owned physicians (35 or so) the three I specifically work for are going to be leaving the company and "merging" with a local hospital. We are going to have to re-apply for our positions. I'm four months pregnant and am already on FMLA thru the current company we are with.

"Laid off" after returning from FMLA leave
Hi, I cannot let this go without fully following through. March 5, 2009 after returning from FMLA leave, I was called to HR and told that my position was eliminated and I was laid off permanently

disability and work?
I notified my boss verbally in 2008 of my disability and again in writing early this year when asked to give a write up that I would improve my attendance. I recently started the FMLA process and because I miss 2 days of work this week he wants another write up stating I will improve my attendance.

too little too late?
I was suspended for excessive absences pending termination. However prior to my suspension I was set to be on paid leave of absence due to a workers compensation claim. So I was suspended pending termination and the next week I was out on workers compensation

Intermittent FMLA?
I have had 2 major knee surgeries (reattached quad tendon to kneecap) due to an injury suffered at work in June 09. My employer (State of Mo.)shortly afterward filed me for FMLA leave.
