unauthorized auto repair
the engine in my car went and needed to be replaced, a 'friend' agreed to replace the engine at his families shop for $2500. I transported the car to his home and paid the money. We didn't sign any papers being he was a close friend

Need Some Legal advise with mechanic
I live in Texas, and I put my car into a mechanic shop back in Jan. The mechanic was to rebuild my engine and put on a couple supplied parts that I purchased. I paid 2000 in advance and was to owe him another 1000 when it was finished.

Oil change negligence
My engine is ruined. I had my oil changed by a local "Lube Express" facility on 2/10/2010 then drove directly home (10 miles). I didn't drive my car again until 2/12/2010.

Buying Used Car
I just purchased a used car from a dealer last week. I took it in as it said the engine was in failsafemode. Took it back to the used car dealer they checked it out and it needs a part thats about $1100.00.
