Tenant shutting off electricity on 21st but not moving till 25th. What if pipes freez
My tenant informs me she is turning electricity off on 12/21 but she does not intend to be out till 12/25. It is very cold here in Maine and pipes will freeze w/out heat. I would have the electricity continued in my name but I am worried that she will turn furnace up and leave windows open.

Seeking Advice
My husband is a teacher at an elementary school where he is the only male. Their principal, which was a man, left the district and a woman principal was hired. When she came another teacher told her my husband and the old principal were tight, which they were not at all, however, the principal (I think) believes this and does treat him differently.

Easement violation
I purchased a piece of land at a private airport. there is suppose to be an easement for utility (electrical) for which ppl are either not to build on or to put PVC pipes under the foundation so that the next lot can run electricity. Well, the guy next to me did not leave the appropriate size of PVC and now I will have to bore under his foundation which will cost me about 8K to do it.

Landlord will not let me read my meters…
I have an issue with property manager of my apartment complex which has arisen over the past couple days. As some may know, we had a week of snowstorms here and, consequently, anyone who's electric and gas meters were scheduled to be read over the past two weeks had their usage estimated. We moved into this apartment on January 2nd, at which time the utilities were put in our names.
