Converting VHS tape to DVD same as downloading same movie from internet?
Pretty much what the title states. This is all for private use, not to sell, distribute or upload the movies. I own several movies on VHS tapes.

Breach of Contract for Russian Translation to English for British Documentary
In January of 2010 I was contracted by Clarity Productions to translate raw video footage of Russian speaking people into English for a documentary titled, "After the Apocalypse" - I finished translating 10 tapes (60mins each by writing both Russian and English translations to the time codes for editing) and then Clarity Productions went bankrupt and disappeared and the documentary was held in receivership. The director of the documentary Anthony Butts wrote to me and said I would get paid for my work - totaling about $500

[UPDATE] New Collection and it’s not mine, what do I do first?
I am expecting my last two derogs to fall off all my reports between November and December so today I ran all my reports to start yet again, a debt elimination pland and low and behold, I noticed a new collection on both my Transunion and Experian reports, I am pissed! Says the account was opened in August-2010 and a collection agency is reporting it, the original creditor is publishers clearing house DVD, what the heck!! Should I contact the collection agency's 800 number provided on my report or wait until the investigation is complete? Please advise, I'd like to have this all straightened out by the time the derogs fall off my reports in the next 6-8 weeks.

I am being accused of copyright infringement
9 months ago, I uploaded 3 videoclips (all averaging 15 minutes) on YouTube of a DVD which I purchased from the producer. The videoclips were supposed to be for private viewing only (for one person), however, I totally neglected to arrange the setting for private viewing only. Two days ago, this producer found out about the videos and now claims that I am responsible for his economic/financial loss.
