Blog trademark
I have written a food blog since March 2010 and I own the web domain with the blog's name. About a month ago, a man contacted me with some questions about my blog and I politely answered them. The next day, he filed for a trademark with my blog name

"Star Trek" related Domain Name
Many many years ago I registered a domain name that is a common word in the fictional language "Klingon" made popular by Star Trek. I believe I was the second person ever to register this domain as the first owner let the domain expire after a couple of years (this was back in the 90's why domains still expired and weren't held hostage by registrar companies). I haven't developed the domain much, I used it for a couple of pet projects over the years and maintain a very inactive forum on it at the moment

Domain name of other’s last name – can they legally take it?
Hi, I own a website of a very popular last name (for example: Smith.org) that I bought a few years ago. My last name is not Smith, but I have developed the site to become a fairly large news & entertainment authority site that gets a lot of search engine traffic every day now. The site has gotten to a point where I have placed some ads on the site and they are making money.
