Wrong dates on Response to Divorce Petition
I filled out the p/work for a divorce on grounds of abandonment on January 28 and it was filed in the Circuit Clerkâs Office on the 29th of January. Since I did not know where my wife was/had no address for her it came out in the February 23, 2010 edition of our local newspaper.

When does the custody start
I am trying to figure out when I get my kids, my ex wife is trying to change up weekends based off what she thinks. I am going to contact the courts later today but wondering if i can get some opinions. The divorce decree says that the father gets the kids "week 1 Fri Sat SUn, Week two Thursday, Friday" Now she is saying week one starts the week the dudge signed off on our divorce, to me it sounds like week one and two of every month.

Proper way to inform of vacation with daughter
Hi - We share joint physical/legal custody and nothing about vacation time is stated in our divorce paperwork. Nothing about vacationing out of state is addressed either, only "moving" out of state is mentioned. What is the proper way to inform my ex that I plan to take daughter out of state for approximately 1 week during spring break (in April)?

Temporary greencard; divorce.
I recieved my temporary green card on September 16th 2009, and it is valid until September 2011. However my husband and I are getting a divorce, but the marriage was entered in good faith, which I can prove. I have a couple of questions: 1) will my temporary green card be revoked immediately when my divorce becomes final

Dating during separation but before final divorce
In the state of NY are there any legal ramifications of divorce for becoming involved in an intimate relationship while legally separated but before the divorce is final?

Unethical Practice?
A stipulation for my divorce was signed and agreed between my ex and I on 3/09. My attorney did not charge me any money until the end
