Tennis Courts – Florida
After receiving verbal promises from the development company that the land next to me would not be used for anything other than maybe a parking lot, they decided to build an actively used tennis court within 30 yards of my home (lights and all). The noise that is created from the hitting and yelling makes it unbearable to be outside or have windows open during most hours of the day and into the early evening. Aside from the impact on my living standards, I also believe it will now be virtually impossible to sell my house

Insurance premium plus low FICO score equal greater risk (i.e., rates?)
I just received my homeowners insurance renewal and as I read through it I noticed a paragraph: "Consumer reports may be used to determine the price you are charged. We may also obtain and use a credit-based insurance score from information contained in these reports. We may use a third party in conection with the development of your insurance score." Maybe folks with low credit scores are more likely to have their houses catch fire? Or have their roofs blown away in a storm? In the past at least one major insurance company jacked up rates on otherwise safe drivers simply because they had low credit scores while at the same time the largest electric company in my state charged more per kw hour to customers with subprime credit (on top of security deposits, late payment fees, disconnect and reconnect fees, and everything else they could think of to keep a struggling snook down.) But that's life in a edited state where the insurance board and the utilities commission don't give a hoot. Edited to remove a political reference, which is one of the five things we can't talk about on these forums - llecs, myFICO moderator

Characteristics in a Custom Score Card
We've used Residential Status as one of the many characteristics that we use in our custom application scorecard. In discussing our custom application scorecard with a banker group last week, they mentioned that the use of this characteristic is illegal. They could not cite any regulations but were adamant that it can not be used. All the research that we've done in the development of the scorecard and after points to the use of this characteristic as being legal and some even recommend it. Has there been any changes to the law as of late that would affect custom scorecards. Does anyone have a reference or regulation that they could point me to so to? Thanks!

Intellectual property question involving the internet
I worked for a company in Miami, job description business manager, and I worked in sales. During my time here (no work or employee contract), I developed, solely on my own, internet marketing/marketing processes/procedures through intense research. I was asked to continue my research and employ these ideas to benefit the company.

Misleading talent scout business practices – what to do?
Hello, everyone! This is my first post, and luckily the first time I’ve found myself in need of legal advice! Sorry this so long; I just want to be thorough. I recently responded to an ad on Craigslist looking for movie and TV extras (I cannot post links, but if you search "1903733691" under "Jobs" on NY's Craigslist, it should come up). The specific ad was for "Law & Order" extras.

Lease
Ok sorry to bother you again, however I now have another question, I moved into an apartment in December signed a lease that said we were only allowed 2 dogs however later we acquired another dog (due to mothers illness) I told the property manager that worked here at the time and he said that that was not a problem ( he stated because the dog weighs less then 5 lbs) now the secruity of the development (not even the new property manager) (the other one was fired) says that I have to get rid of one of the dogs. If I have been allowed to stay can they still evicted. Mind you I have pretty much been living here since January with 3 dogs and so they can say they have not seen because they are walked 3 times a day.
