Equifax – Fraudulent Address Back on my report

Hi all, I'd love to know how this happend....I cleared it up with Experian a while ago....a fraudulent address was on my credit report, somewhere in the ghetto of Philly - something to do with when my wallet was stolen, had carried my social security card and dl in it, another story; in anycase, I got the address off of the Experian Credit report, and many others....  There is NO doubt in my mind that this ghetto address belongs to the same thieves that stole my wallet...no doubt.

How bad is one negative point on your credit report when applying for a home loan?

Unfortunately we co-signed a loan with my brother in law for his car, and he missed a payment (31 days) and the finance company reported it on my husbands credit. How bad does this look to potential lenders (mortgage). We already have a house, but are looking to move within the next few years. Anyone out there with lending experience from the home mortgage industry that can add some insight?
Please no solicitors

I just checked my credit report?

It says I have a mortgage loan out since 2006, which I never have taken out. If its due to a student loan wouldnt it say student loan instead of mortgage? Who do I call to try and get to the bottom of this? We are planning to purchase our first home this year and I dont want something that I didnt take out in my name to hold me from getting the house we want. How do I check for someone stealing my identity?

I need an immediate loan of £1,000 and also would like to know if i can get a mortgage.?

I recently posted a message regarding my problem with Welcome finance. Anyway I would like to know if it is possible to get an advance/loan of £1,000 in week even with bad credit including having my house repossessed. I would also like to know as a keyworker in London, will I still be able to get a mortgage with my poor credit report. There are new homes coming up for sale in South London in about a couple of months, on a part rent and part buy scheme. If I can’t get a mortgage is there anything I could do to get myself back on the property ladder?

Nevada deficeny judgement and my credit report?

My house was forclosed and sold in Las vegas 3 months ago by the 1st mortgage lender and I was told the bank who holds the 2nd mortgage has only 3 months to sue me for a defiency judgement. Its been 3 months and I havent been sued. Can the 2nd mortgage lender keep the loan open on my credit report or do they have to charge it off ? I am still receiving bills from them.

Are ther any 1st-time loans for those with poor/fair credit, and what are the differences?

I have a discharged bankruptcy (over 2 years ago) with a credit score of 605 (and continuously rising on a monthly basis). I’m looking to buy a house and wanted to know what’s out there. Adjustable vs. fixed rate? Direct lender vs. mortgage broker? 20% (around 60K in my area) or no-money down? I worked with one mortgage lender who is a total nut, pulled my credit report before we even finished talking, and won’t explain anything to me. I need help from the Central Jersey area if possible. I need serious help and the internet just isn’t enough.

How do I fix my credit and make sure my unpaid debt is taken off of my credit report?

I am getting sick of my bad credit ruining everything I try to do. At this point I am finally able to pay off my debt in order to fix this problem. I have heard stories of people paying off their debt but the company leaving them as unpaid on their credit report. I DONT want this to happen. How do I go about paying everything off while making sure it is taken off my credit report for good? How long does it take your score to change after you paid everything off?

There is a same tax lien listed twice, one has account number , the other doesn’t has an account number. Which credit bureau should I contact for this issue? How do you know which item is from which credit bureau?
