OSC – Contempt in California
How often do the Family Courts actually punish the offenders of an Court Order? While filing an OSC-Contempt is available, does they (courts) impose sanctions, cmmnty service or worse it; jail time? Have someone whom is an "ex" that continues to NOT follow the court order and fails to adhere, despite the judges warning them to follow it

delayed birth certificate fl.
I hope I am in the right section,if not I apologize in advance.:) I am trying to petition the court for a delayed birth certificate. I have been through the vital statistics and cannot get any further without the court order, however when I went to the county courthouse to file I was told they did not have the paperwork I would need and I would have to figure it out on my own. I cannot seem to find the necissary paperwork anywhere.

Apartment Rental Question
I ran 2 tenant backround checks on myself as I am going to be moving to new apartment soon. The report indicated that a former landlord filed a demand with a New York City Civil Court in 2006 for late payment. I was never served with the demand and could not find the case or demand for payment when I went to the Court to research the problem
