Fair Use / Copyright Laws – Screenshots and Sound Bites
My friend and I are looking to develop a Trivia game for the iPhone. The game would flash screenshots of movies, video games and sports arenas and ask the end user to pick the correct answer. Would we be violating Copyright Laws by using these pictures / screenshots or would this fall under "Fair Use"?

Posting Emails to Website – Sender claiming Copyright Infringement, need advice.
Hello, I've been working with a hosting provider for about two years and recently we had an affiliate that was committing affiliate fraud (which is a whole different issue, I'll go into detail if you desire). The point is that the owner of the company terminated the affiliate's account for violating the Affiliate Terms of Service and refused to pay out any affiliate commissions based upon the violations of the Affiliate Terms of Service.

I am being accused of copyright infringement
9 months ago, I uploaded 3 videoclips (all averaging 15 minutes) on YouTube of a DVD which I purchased from the producer. The videoclips were supposed to be for private viewing only (for one person), however, I totally neglected to arrange the setting for private viewing only. Two days ago, this producer found out about the videos and now claims that I am responsible for his economic/financial loss.

Scope of Employment – Does my company own the software I created?
I'm basically looking for some consultation involving a situation with my employer. I was originally working for them as an independent contractor (1099) to provide technical support to customers. During this time period I began working on a software program to help me keep track of the cases I was working on.

Trade mark Issues/ cease and desist letter
The cover design includes a photo of the latest convertible version of the luxury, Rolls Royce and the characters of the song, which is a parody & a social commentary on the financial crisis. Our concerns are as follows: (a) Re: Copyright of the photos: • Is using a stock photo (purchased on line) of the vehicle ok ? • In the event that we cannot find the appropriate stock photo, can we take our own at a dealership and use it in our cover art?
