A question about the FAFSA and student loans?
I’m 20 and have been going to a 4-year university for 2 1/2 years now. I never did the FAFSA application because it was confusing, my parents didn’t seem to care about it and they offered to pay for my college tuition. I’ve been paying for my books, car stuff, etc with my part-time job. My parents can no longer afford to pay my tuition.
My question is: Can I get a student loan that will pay for my tuition and housing as well? I live at home still, but my parents are getting a divorce and my job and school are a good 45 away from the town the live in. The room I have here doesn’t have a door or closet, it’s an add-on room. I’ve been commuting, but also sometimes staying with friends closer to where I do my daily stuff. The back and forth living situation is making it hard for me to feel grounded. I think I’d live a lot healthier life if I could have a permanent place to keep groceries, a place to hang my clothes, and feel home, would really help me into a comfortable routine, which I don’t have. I’d just like some advice on this because I don’t want to make a big change and then realize too late that it’s not worth it for some reason I couldn’t see before.
My parents make pretty good money but because of the housing situation, most of their money goes toward trying to pay their mortgage. Would I even qualify for enough to live off of? I’m just not sure how that whole thing works.

This is a fairly long story so please bear with me. My boyfriend and his mother were living together in the same state, but a different county than me for several years following her request for him to move back in

going crazy
There was a miscommunication between my husband and I and our landlord. The landlord had side walk pavers at the house when we moved in. He told us that we could do whatever we wanted with them, he wasn't going to use them(atleast thats the way we understood it).

parole relocation
My friend was released from prison in January 2010, but instead of being released in Riverside Co. where he lives and works now, he was released in LA county where he lived about 8 years ago
