Screwed and sued by employer. (Long Version)
I was approached by an old acquaintance in February 2010 and asked if I would like to work for him as an Aircraft Broker. It was something new and promising so I gave it a shot. I started on March 1st 2010.

An existing business “ xyz Inc.” closed and sold it’s assets including its name, show room, phone numbers, web site, existing clients and machinery to “ABC Inc”. The insurance brokerage company that had been handling the insurance for “xyz Inc.” was informed of the change in ownership/structure and that new company would need liability insurance. The insurance broker/agent failed to correctly identify the new entity on subsequent insurance policies.

Firing an employee with a contract
I own a small LLC and we are growing. I currently employee a independent contractor but my accountant says she really is an employee. If I keep her on with a contract that needs to be renewed, how will that affect my unemployment insurance if I decide not to renew her contract and effectively "fire" her.

Oops! Blackballed and Did Not Believe It
I have had wonderful interviews and have been even told when I would start training, but then I never hear from again. Insurance Non Par provider
We are a Substance Abuse Facility in Florida and we just started billing for insurance for our clients . We are non participating with all insurances accept for 2 BCBS and Beechstreet. Our Client paid cash for her services here at the facility then asked for us to bill her United Healthcare which we did.
