My ex-husband has spent a grand total of 24 hours with our almost 4 year old daughter since our divorce was finalized almost exactly one year ago, none of them out of my care at all, as he does not have a valid driver’s license (but drives anyway – It is specifically in my divorce decree that he must have a valid license to transport her, so he has not taken her from my care – the license is suspended for an unpaid traffic ticket.) The last visit was 8 months ago. During that last visit, she had a rather “dirty” accident in her pants, and he told me “You change it. She lives with you!” and left the room.
I contact him as soon as I find out about special events with her preschool, including parent-teacher conferences, and her church choir performances. He has attended none of them, and it breaks her heart every time. I have expressed this to him, and get a standard “I know. I don’t have any money.” EVERY TIME. I have offered to meet him halfway, to spend a day at the zoo, or for lunch at an outdoor mall over the summer. Every time, the answer is the same.
In November, he came to my home to (finally) remove his truck from my property, and did not stay the additional half hour that would have been required for our daughter to be out of preschool to see her.
He also refuses to tell me where he works; Out of 14 months that I should have been receiving child support (including temporary) for our daughter, I have received about 4 months’ worth.
I would like to ask for sole legal custody, as I don’t believe that he knows her well enough to know what is best for her. He has routinely deferred decisions to me rather than discuss them, and I have documented these, as well as the few visits and my attempts at getting him to see her. Also, I would like a modification of child support, as it was previously figured on his making just over minimum wage, and he has hinted, but will not verify, that he is making far more.
Are these reasonable goals given that he has not chosen to be involved in her life? Thank you!

I dont expect help for my case, but I would like to know how much time I am facing if found guilty. Here is the scenario:

My father called a church about obtaining a aluminum steeple that was dismantled and on the church property and had been sitting out there for years. My father was told he had permission to get the steeple after several calls. So Me, My father, and my mother, obtained the steeple and sold it to a metal recycling center for between $400-$500. A week later we were contacted by the police, they wouldnt tell us anything but said they wanted to talk to us. I went down there and talked to em. I lied about going down there, yes It was completely stupid, but I did. Once he showed me a picture of myself at the metal shop I told them the truth about everything. The victims told the police, and prosecutor that we did call them. However, they say my father didn’t ask for the aluminum cross that he asked for a small wooden cross that was in the back. We were arrested and charged with grand larceny, conspiracy, and selling stolen property.

If found guilty, what kinda time am I looking at?
My mother has no priors. My father has a felony conviction 20 years ago, of a totally different type of nature, nothing to do with theft. I have a conviction in 2008 for distribution of cocaine, and I had 4 and half years suspended on that charge.

I am nearly finished writing a novel in which I asked a large number of people I have met, who have been married for over twenty years and used some of the best stories I received (Examples: Where and how they proposed, wedding blunders etc…) and added them as events in the life of my main characters. There is one person who I used several real life events ranging from the manner of death of his spouse being cancer and what instructions she left behind for her husband, his hobby as a woodworker and who he remarried (a female pastor from their church life) and I am wondering if any or all of these people would end up with a case for likeness rights against me if I publish the book. The rest of the book is completely fictional and even most of the events and happenings that really happened are not exactly how they truly occurred in the story. Any information on this is truly appreciated.

I need to know what my legal option’s are against someone. I have a coviction for 3rd degree CSC. Someone has found out about my past and is now going around telling everyone she see’s about my past. I know or belive this to be illegal. As such what are the legal option’s that I may take against this person? I need to know as soon as possible as it has cost me possible job’s as well as damaged my church membership.

In order for you to get a full and accurate understanding as to what has transpired in the past 14 years, I will give you a brief (as brief as possible) history of my relationship with my daughter since she was born.

Born in FL in 96; she was conceived in PA when I was 17 and her mom was 15. At that time mom was “temporarily” living with her father but was then forced back to FL to live with her mom, which is why my daughter was born in FL. Mom lived with her parents, child’s grandparents until my daughter was 3. She had alot of issues back then; she was a runaway, used drugs, alcohol and had a lot of issues with the law. Once mom got her own place it wasn’t but a ferw short months later when CYS were called and she was found unfit. My daughter was placed in temp. care of grandparents for a few months until I received full custody in PA. At this ime my daughter was 4 years old.

Mom and grandparents all moved to PA once I was granted custody. Mom was only permitted supervised visits, but eventually filed and got visitation. I had custody from 8/00 thru 9/04. Most of the time my daughter was in my care things were great. It was in 04 that I became addicted to pain pills. Grandparents were fighting for partial custody. I was accused of theft and placed in jail. These charges were all eventually dropped as they were not true, but during this time my daughter was placed in temp. custody of grandparents since my wife was not the biological mother (even beside the fact that my wife had heped raise her for the past 4 1/2 years).

Non the less, it became a 3 ring circus. It was a custody battle between mom, grandparents and I. Mom had married and she and her hubby were also drug addicts, there drug of choice was cocaine. Unfortunately for me, she was better at hiding her addiction and received physical custody in 05. Our court order stated that I have partial custody and that we would mutually agree on visitation dates and times because we felt that we were responsible enough to do so. I honestly believed mom would work with me. She didnt, really. I was able to see my daughter when it was convenient for her. I went along with it because I couldn’t afford to go back to court.

In 05 shortly after mom got physical custody I moved 130 miles away. It was a decision my wife and I made in order to better our lives. We have lived here since then and our lives have never been better. We are clean, I have my own business, my wife has had the same job for 4 years, we have 3 other children together, my oldest son is a straight A student and excels at everything, we are very active in our church and our community. I have to admit, when we first moved it was financially difficult for me to make the drive frequently to see my daughter. I did when I could and almost always on Holidays. The visitation was “acceptable” until May 09. I had a falling out with mom. She always wanted to control everything and I got tired of being dictated as to what I could say to my daughter and so on and so forth. Finally what broke the camels back was in Nov. when I received a text stating that I would not be permitted to see my daughter over the holidays. We exchanged some heated words and mom ended up blocking all of my lines of communication. I told her I was done and I would be filing to have visitation at my home. Prior to that mom would only allow me to visit in my old hometown. From that point things went down hil drastically. I have been completely alienated from my daughter. Mom allows the child to read all correspondence between us. She has made my daughter believe I am a horrible person and my daughter refuses to come to my home. I did file for a modification to the order since it was so vague and mom has denied me all but 1 visit since the order was place (which she originally agreed to). I am also permitted “reasonable” phone calls every Wed. at 8, I have not had a “reasonable” conversation yet. Mom sits in the background telling my daughter what to say. She mocks me and is very ignorant. She talks to me in a way that no child should be permitted to talk to an adult. I do have texts saved in my phone from her which show the way she is treating me.

I am at my wits end and am very hurt! My daughter and I had no problems just less than a year ago. Now she hates me. I know it is because she does not want to come to my house. She has even told me that if I would drop it she wouldn’t act this way. I feel that I have a right to visit where I live. This whole situation is insane. My daughter’s mother is abusing her mentally by the damaging things she has put in my daughter’s mind. The latest excuse is that she is “afraid” of me. My current wife and I had a really bad argument when my daughter lived with us. I have never even laid a finger on her, or anyone else for that matter. But I believe my daughter’s mother has told her that if she says she is afraid she won’t have to come with me. It is all a lie and obviously there were never any issues in the past.

I have filed contempt papers, but I am very curious to know how I can expect this to play out. Will I be denied my rights as a father? When I am able to prove what her mother has done, will the courts stll believe that it is in her best interest to be with mom? At this point I would rather see her in foster care because her mom is mentally abusing her and she doesn’t even realize! I am sorry for giving you so much info, I just wanted to make sure you have all the info!

I also would like to add that mom’s husband recently signed his rights away to his 14 year old daughter to a prior relationship. The reason they say is because the child was miserable at their house. I don’t know if this has any pertinence or not. Also, mom and step dad both have a lengthy history in the courts. Step dad beat mom one time, but my daughter doesn’t know that. In fact, my daughter knows nothing about her mom, yet her mom feels the need to inform my daughter about every mistake I have ever made. She also discusses the child support with my daughter. Mom also told daughter that if she doesn’t want to come she won’t have to. (Ok…I’m done rambling…sorry!)

about a hour or so later i heard a bunch
of noise comming from my porch i tried to peer out my bedroom window but was unable to see what the commotion was.. so i grabbed
the only weapon i could find MR.PINK (who i hate to say is my 9in vibrator) and place him into my hands like he was a sword.

i flung open my bedroom door instantly thrashing MR.PINK from side to side to prevent a flying feline attack,but the
coast was clear. i slowly creaped into the living room still twirling slowly in circles armed with MR.PINK i proceeded to the
front door. i flung it open to find at least 7-9 cats on my porch all staring and mewoing at this CAT PAWS CAT POST
SCRATCHER.. i instantly thougth of the horror of my previous cat mauling and decided i needed to get that thing away
from the naboirhood cats. so i lunged for it and quicly grabbed it and reentered my house, the cats began scratching at my door
and meowing… once back inside i placed it back on the floor and ran to my room relocking the door and placing MR.PINK on
the nightstand (IN CASE I NEEDED A WEAPON) well within 5 mins. MRS.KITTY was out there making all kind of
noise and thrashing around the living room like a banshee.. so i did the only thing that i could think of….

i instantly called my priest, father micheal mcdonalds from the church ive attended fince infancy and i told him i had a family
member who was possesed and had inflicted body harm on me and was uncontrolable and i despratly needed his help, he said
my child im sure youre family member is having a mental health issue or a drug one. but i will be there first thing in the morning
to comfort u in youre time of need i thanked him and hung up the phone… i sat all night untill i saw the sun peeping threw
the curtains with the sheets pulled over my bent knee’s whimpering and cringing threw out the night…

when father micheal arived around 9 am i lunged out of my bed (LEAVING MY WEAPON ON THE NIGHTSTAND OF COURSE)
and ran for the door i let him in instantly feeling this will end now, father micheal entered my home and started removing
some items from his bag and then asked where is youre family member i must examine him … i immediatly took him to the kichen
and pointed at MRS.KITTY and said please make the power of CHRIST compel whats ever in her to leave… he just looked at
me and gave me that same look the emt and nurse’s had earlier in the evening.. and i went into a frantic explanation of all that
happened and he ( to appease me im sure ) said ok dyanna i will bless the cat and the house… and then asked me why i hadnt
just burned the CAT PAWS CAT SCRATCHER POST.. i hadnt thought of this so i said i will do that , and he began chanting
some things at MRS.KITTY so i ran to the living room and grabbed the post and went to the back porch ( in full view of father
micheals) i ran to my garage and brabbed 5 gallons of gasoline and ran back to the porch and douced it i grabbed a lighter
tried to set it aflame it went up in flames and i had the most happy sensation of my life and it quickly went away when
the flames went out and there wasnt a mark on it, i looked back in horror to find father micheals in a fierce battle
with MRS.KITTY he was bobbing and weaving to avoid her blows … and in a matrix like move she heaved into the air
and licked him in the face… i ran in to help when he saw me he yelled to hell with this packed his stuff and ran out of my
home ……. i started to cry again and went into a rage i ran to the back porch and grabbed the scratcher post and ran to my
car threw it in the trunk and drove to 3 towns over to a local goodwill store and ran in and said i wanna donate this and heaved
it onto the counter, the lady said wow thats the 4th one of those we have gotten this month… i quickly ran out of the store
back to my car and drove to the ups store bought a big cardboard box and some stamps ( alot of them ) and headed back
to the my house ran in grabbed a towel from my bathroom and ran for MRS.KITTY threw the towel on her and threw her
into the box ( as nicely as i could as to not injure her for u peta folks ) grabbed some 200 mph duct tape and quickly sealed
the top of the box i cut a few air holes and ran and then sealed the whole thing up with bubble wrap made up a fake name
in a mailed her to some general name i came up with in the town of okanowa japan….

i must say my life is happy and normal again i will never own pets again and would like to put this ordeal behind me …..

but i was thinking about it the other night and something struck me in my head the goodwill lady said others had
been donating them… this means im not the could this be a class action suit
or should i stick with personal injury ??

i know this was a long story but my legal question i need answered is how many people do u need for a class action law
suit ??? and also how would i go about finding the other victims of cat possesion due to the cat post scratcher…
