Ex has been paying child support BUT…
When our divorce was finalized last June, he didn't want to have the state take and record the child support payments because that would be giving up too much control over me.

Not "A Child In Need of Services"
I have a couple questions but this is the base: "A Child in Need of Services" is considered a person under 18, truant, is a habitual runaway, in doing so presents a clear and substantial danger to the child's life or health, the child or family is in need of treatment or rehabilitation services not being recieved, and the intervention of court is necessary to provide that treatment or rehabilitation. My friend is seventeen, she was pulled out of high school by her parents and forced to be homeschooled, and then clep out of a few classes and then take numerous college classes. she is now a few credits away from earning her associates degree.

Do I actually have a chance of getting my son back?
When I was 15 (my now husband was 18) we had a son. My parents weren't able to help support a child and neither was my husband or his family. My aunt let me come live with her.
