No Death Certificate Issued
My grandma passed away six months ago, RIP Babciu Stacey, and one month after her death we realized that no death certificate was ever issued. In early September she suffered a massive stroke which landed her in intensive care at Rush Medical Center in Chicago for about a month and a half. After several surgeries, she was showing signs of improvement.

Buying a condo at court auction
We're intersted in purchasing a condo that is in the final stage of the foreclosure process. The court has scheduled a sales date for the unit. The bidding will be done online via the court web site and it is open to the public.

CERTIFICATE OF CONFERENCE without conference?
If counsel for defendant makes no attempt to contact me yet signs a Certificate of Conference stating "The attempt to confer with Plaintiff pro se was unsuccessful." Is the attorney acting in bad faith? Should I do anything about this

California Domestic Partnership – Name Change Law CA AB 102
My question pertains to the rights given to a couple who has registered for a Certificate of Domestic Partnership in California, as they pertain to CA AB 102. To my understanding, AB 102 allows for one or both partners to legally change their names (within the limitations stated)
