How bad is one negative point on your credit report when applying for a home loan?
Unfortunately we co-signed a loan with my brother in law for his car, and he missed a payment (31 days) and the finance company reported it on my husbands credit. How bad does this look to potential lenders (mortgage). We already have a house, but are looking to move within the next few years. Anyone out there with lending experience from the home mortgage industry that can add some insight?

any mortgage companies giving loans with a fico score of 550 and 100 percent financing for a house purchase in

Can i get a mortgage as Full time Student? (UK)?
HI there. I am a fulltime student, 3rd year. Will be working over summer for a company with appx earning of £3000. I got £4000 savings. My parents are unemployed. I could borrow money from my older brother…probably around £10000. I dont have any students loans, or other debts.
I was thinking to buy a property and let it. Preferably in London area since there supposed to be high rents. What you think is it possible for me to get a mortgage?

adding another name onto deed and mortage

4th Felony (formal) Probation Violation
I'm asking in regards to my brother-in-law. He was convicted of receiving stolen property in June 2010, released in September 2010 and put on felony (formal) probation for 3 years. He violated the 1st time and did time for a DUI in October 2010, violated a 2nd time for not reporting in December 2010, violated a 3rd time and did time for a concealed weapon charge (dropped to a misdemeanor) in January 2011 and now violated a 4th time for a DUI last week
